This finding is supported by Kristin Upton’s testimony that Artravis claimed he owned the vehicle, and by Sgt. O’Leary’s testimony that Louis McCray stated that he was the owner of the vehicle. While Artravis denies claiming to be the vehicle’s owner, we defer to the district court’s determination regarding the credibility of witnesses. General v. General, 409 N.W.2d 511, 513 (Minn.App.1987).
