Given that the plaintiffs had included in their complaint a prayer for punitive damages and had ample opportunity in the nearly three years before trial to request discovery related to the financial condition of the defendants, we conclude that the court’s denial of the plaintiffs’ request was a reasonable exercise of its “inherent managerial power to impose reasonable limits on discovery”; Ramin v. Ramin, 281 Conn. 324, 342 n.8, 915 A.2d 790 (2007); and, therefore, not an abuse of its discretion. IV ATTORNEY’S FEES PURSUANT TO CUTPA
