In 1928, considering an appeal on an action to recover the balance due on a $10,500 construction contract, we held that a discrepancy of $21 was “de minimis.” Zajonc v. Szrzepowski, 107 Conn. 532, 534-35, 141 A. 651 (1928). If $21 was de minimis in 1928, it is safe to say that $25.01 is de minimis today.
