Our task is not to favor or disfavor the UCL, but to effectuate the intent of the Legislature. In this case, the trial court's order directing disgorgement of defendants' illegal profits did just that. I would reverse the judgment of the Court of Appeal and remand the cause for further proceedings consistent with the foregoing. NOTES
