(Friedman et al., Cal. Practice Guide: Landlord-Tenant (The Rutter Group 2000) ¶¶ 2:146 to 2:148, pp. 2B-30 to 2B-30.2.) As a general rule, “[a] lease must include a definite description of the property leased and an agreement for rent[] to be paid at particular times during a specified term.” (Beckett v. City of Paris Dry Goods Co. (1939) 14 Cal.2d 633, 637 [96 P.2d 122].)
