The door eventually was replaced because the lock and the area around it were severely damaged and no longer worked. Though Ms. Alden testified that the damage was caused by an intruder, not a resident of the property, the court appears to have credited Mr. Richardson’s testimony that the tenants caused the damage by breaking the door open. 7.
