The thrust of the small claims decision is as follows. Ms. Alden rented the premises from
Mr. Richardson for nearly 4 years. The rent was $850 per month at the end of the occupancy.
An $800 security deposit was paid directly to Mr. Richardson by what is now known as
Capstone Community Action. The agreement was that at the end of the term it would be
returned, minus withholdings, to Capstone and not to the tenant on behalf of whom it was paid.
