521 charsBridgeton paid the monthly lease charges through November, 1991. At the end of the lease term, Schnucks and Bridgeton agreed that Bridgeton could remain as a month to month tenant at a rent of $500 per week. After November, 1991 and before this action was filed Bridgeton made no further payments under the lease or with respect to the month to month tenancy. On March 26,1992 Schnucks filed this action for past charges due under the lease plus rents which were accruing while Bridgeton continued to occupy the premises.
