(p) When a landlord is required to provide a relocation assistance payment subject to Subsection 13.76.130(A)(8)(g), the payment shall be divided among the tenants occupying the rental unit at the time of service of the notice to terminate tenancy.

i. Within ten days of service of a notice terminating tenancy under Subsection 13.76.130(A)(8), the landlord shall deposit the standard relocation assistance (for households where an occupant has resided one year or more) with the City or its designated agent to be held in escrow. Within ten days after the funds are deposited into escrow, the City shall release the standard relocation assistance to the tenant household, unless the landlord notifies the Rent Stabilization Program in writing that the landlord disputes the tenant’s eligibility to receive such assistance.
