Later plaintiffs again went to seek the return of their security deposit. Wolf said the return could be made only if the plaintiffs accepted the restrictive endorsement, which plaintiffs again refused to do. Wolf expressed the view that he knew what they were up against, being black, and added that if they decided to go to court he would assist them.
