       This is not the case envisioned by the Legislature when it enacted Code of Civil
Procedure section 1161.3. The unlawful detainer was based on the manner in which defendant
and her guests treated other tenants, and their involvement in narcotics activity. Substantial
evidence did not support a defense that the unlawful detainer was based on a documented act of
domestic violence. I would affirm the judgment.
