Lessor also includes a section in his brief in which he disputes testimony presented by lessee at trial regarding a purported oral proposal to modify the contracts to allow lessee to pay less rent. He states that lessee did not present any evidence that lessor ever assented to his proposal, so “[lessor] cannot be deemed to have been bound by [lesseefs proposal.” He refers particularly to testimony by lessee that the security deposits were reallocated to rent in arrears.
