At the time this dispute arose, c. 93A gave a cause of action to lessees of real property who suffered “any loss of money or property ... as a result of the use or employment by another person of an unfair or deceptive act or practice declared unlawful by section two or by any rule or regulation issued under paragraph (c) of said section two . . . .” G.
