441.610.    Waiver of provisions of sections 441.500 to 441.640 void. — Any provision of a lease or other agreement whereby any provision of sections 441.500 to 441.643 for the benefit of an occupant of a dwelling unit or units is waived or denied shall be deemed against public policy and shall be void. ­­-------- (L. 1969 p. 537 § 12, A.L. 1998 H.B. 977 & 1608)
