. This part of the section was subsequently amended to read: "A tenancy may be terminated by a park owner or operator pursuant to chapter 18 of title 34. Jurisdiction in matters relating to this chapter shall be in the district court, but subject to any of the following limitations which takes precedence over any conflicting state statute or local ordinance.” Section 31-44-2(a), as amended by P.L.2000, ch.109, § 45, enacted July 7, 2000. The compiler’s omission of the word "reasons” in the 2000 Reenactment of the General Laws was not and, of course, could not represent a substantive change in the Legislature’s intent without its consent. In our opinion, no such change in intent is evident. The compiler wisely realized that redundancy is to be avoided.
